Data Deletion Request
You have the right to delete your MindMatch account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how.
How to Delete Your Data
Method 1 — Delete in the App Recommended
The fastest way to delete your account and all data is directly within the MindMatch app:
- 1Open MindMatch and sign in to your account
- 2Tap your profile icon to go to your Profile page
- 3Tap the Settings (gear) icon
- 4Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- 5Confirm the deletion — your account will be permanently removed
Note: This action is irreversible. All your data will be permanently deleted.
Method 2 — Request via Email
If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by sending an email to our support address. Please include:
- The email address associated with your MindMatch account
- Your MindMatch username (if you remember it)
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"

We will process email requests within 5 business days and send a confirmation when done.

Deletion Timeline
After you request deletion:
Immediately — Your account is deactivated; your profile is no longer visible to other users
Within 30 days — All your personal data (profile, messages, photos, voice recordings, mind map data, matches) is permanently deleted from our systems
Within 90 days — Any residual copies in backups or security logs are purged
After 90 days — Nothing linked to you remains on our servers
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will lose all your matches, messages, and history.
- Messages you sent to other users will also be deleted from their conversations.
- If you signed in with Google, deleting your MindMatch account does not delete your Google account.
- You may re-register with the same Google account in the future, but your previous data will not be recoverable.
- If you only want to stop receiving notifications, you can disable them in the app settings without deleting your account.
